Catching up

Since coming back from our California trip we stepped right back into the routine awaiting us. But not everything has been so routine. First At the beginning of October while on my way to church I hit a huge deer. What a shocking experience. it really messed up my SUV. I happened so fast all i can remember is I came around a slight curve and there is this deer standing there looking  at me through my windshield, I stepped on my brakes but he didn't move fast enough. I was only traveling at about 55-60 mph. I don't know where he disappeared too, but he was gone. Next thing I know my SUV was sending out a smoke screen behind me so I decided to pull over but there was nowhere to go so i slowed and started looking for a pull out about 2 blocks down the hwy I see a place I think is is a driveway and pull across it and look into my rear view mirror  and see a police car coming up the road behind me so as he passes I blink my headlights, Thank the Lord  he saw and came back to help. That deer was so mad at me he tore out my grill, my headlights, my radiator, my transmission and I don't know what else. I'm still waiting to get my car back from the body shop.

Hey ! I'm Back

It has been quite awhile since I last posted. Life can get hectic and you can't get to everything you want or need to. So please  accept my apologies for the lack of new post.

I you have been a follower of my blog you know that my husband David and I took a road trip to California in September, to see our Daughter and grandson. We had a great time, we allowed 3 days to get there and 3 to return we arrived at our friends house in Riverbank, CA. midmorning on Saturday and had a blast, laughing, eating and talking about old times and making new memories. We spent 2 night with them and then on to redwood city to see our girl and he family. We enjoyed our time there as we got to really get to know our 2 yr old grandson  getting in the floor and playing. We made memories that will last forever and still a month later he still remembers daddad and grandma.
